What a kids cut looks like at our shop
We treat kids cuts the same way we treat adult cuts — clean blend, straight lineup, real attention to detail. The only difference is pace. First-timers get extra time. We let them touch the clippers (turned off), watch in the mirror, and sit on a parent's lap if that's what makes the haircut work. We're not in a hurry to flip the chair. That's why moms keep coming back — and why a lot of our 5-year-old clients are now 8-year-old clients.
First haircut? Here's what to expect.
Walk in or book online. Tell us it's a first haircut and we'll pair you with a barber who's done hundreds of them — Brian, Suby, and Diego all specialize in nervous first-timers. We usually start with the buzzer on the back of the parent's hand so the kid hears it before they feel it. Then we go slow. If your child needs to take a break mid-cut, that's fine. We've got time. Bring whatever helps — favorite snack, tablet, stuffed animal. Kids 12 and under is $40, same as the adult cut. No first-cut upcharge, no "complicated" upcharge.
Booking and what to bring
Book online to lock in a time, or walk in any day. Saturdays fill up fastest — book at least 2 days ahead if you want a Saturday morning slot. We're at 5820 Rd 92 Unit 204 in Pasco, right off Burden Boulevard. Plenty of parking out front. Open Mon–Fri 9–6, Saturday 9–5, Sunday 10–3. If your child has had a bad haircut experience before, just tell the barber when you sit down. We'll adjust the pace, take more breaks, and let your kid drive the timeline. The cut still ends up clean — it just takes a few extra minutes.

How much is a kids haircut in Pasco?

$40 flat for ages 12 and under at Clean Culture Barbershop #2. Same price as the adult cut — no first-haircut upcharge, no toddler upcharge. If your child wants a fade or a design, that's included.
What age do you start cutting kids' hair?

We've cut hair on babies under 1 (Suby has done several first-birthday cuts). There's no minimum age. As long as you're patient and we're patient, we'll make it work.
Do you do girls' haircuts?

Yes — kids cut covers any child 12 and under, regardless of gender. We do clean trims, layers, and basic styling. For more involved cuts on longer hair, ask when you book and we'll pair you with the right barber.
Can I sit with my child during the cut?

Yes. Parents are welcome at the chair, holding hands, or holding the child on their lap if that's what works. Whatever makes the cut go smoothly. There's also a waiting lounge with a foosball table for siblings.
What if my kid is scared and won't sit in the chair?

Happens all the time. We'll sit them on a parent's lap, let them play with the clippers (off), and start when they're ready. If today's not the day, we don't charge you for trying. Come back when they're ready.
